Eddie Donald Booth

Eddie D. Booth, age 74, of Topeka passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at the Midland Hospice House. Eddie was born December 8, 1944 in Topeka the son of Edgar and Doris Metzger Booth. He owned and operated Eddie’s Sheetmetal in McPherson for some time before moving to California where he worked as a custom Metal Fabricator. He later moved back to Topeka where he owned his own lawnmower repair business in North Topeka. Eddie married Marilyn Scott, they later divorced. He then married Thelma Ann Riley, they later divorced. He then married Sharon Littlejohn. Eddie enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He also enjoyed being with his friends, usually playing cards. He especially enjoyed spending time with special friends, Jimmy (Nancy) Rose and Terry (Pat) Lightle. Eddie was very social and always worried about everyone. He spent a lot of time with his sister Janice in recent years.

Eddie was preceded in death by two daughters, Tammy and Michelle Booth and his siblings, Gary McCall, Lonnie Ray Booth, Phyllis Manning, Margaret Willtrout and Vernon Booth.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Booth of Topeka; a son, Gary Booth of Holton; two daughters, Ginger Kay Booth of Los Angeles, California and Charlotte Booth of Crossville, Tenn.; a brother, Larry McCall of Colorado Springs, CO; a special sister, Janice Blevins of Topeka; grandchildren, Savanna and Garyson along with 15 others.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. He will lie in state Friday from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. with visitation from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. also at the funeral home.
