Dorothy A. Frey, 85, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2021.
She was born in Williamsburg, Kansas, on November 17, 1935, to Clare and Mabel (Davis) Brown.
Dorothy graduated from Circleville High School in 1953 and completed her education with honors from Clarks Business School. She worked for many years at the offices of Santa Fe and Goodyear Tire Company before transitioning to the State of Kansas where she retired.
On October 7, 1954, Dorothy married Dale L. Frey in Silver Lake, Kansas, where they settled and raised their daughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Charles W. Brown; and her sister, M. Louise Snavely.
In addition to her loving husband, Dale, Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Cheryl D. Fuller, Pam S. Billings, and Patricia Hemauer; her grandchildren, January D. Gustafson, Derek D. Fuller, Jeri Lyn (Dustin) Carpenter, Randi L. Billings, Camryn L. Billings, Tyler L. Billings, Max McDaniel, Val McDaniel, and Delayne McDaniel; her great-grandchildren, Janine (Ethan) Ashley, Jayden Gustafson, Jaxon Gustafson, and Ozzy; and her great great-grandchild, Joshua Ashley; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 21, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Parker-Price Funeral Home in Topeka.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Silver Lake United Methodist Church. A light luncheon will follow.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy's memory to the Silver Lake United Methodist Church and sent in care of Parker-Price Funeral Home,
