Doris L. Dunkin

Doris L. Dunkin, 94, of Topeka passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017.   She was born August 1, 1923 in Topeka one of nine children to Gilbert and Nettie Penrod.   Doris lived in Topeka her entire life.   She was married to Dean Dunkin.   Dean preceded her in death.   Doris enjoyed flowers of all kinds and working in her yard, she also enjoyed working on quilts and was a devoted mom and grandmother.

Survivors include her children, Richard Dunkin and his wife Debbie, daughter, Vickie Freel and husband “Pat” all of Topeka; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Along with Dean, Doris was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, and three brothers.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 pm Friday evening, November 24 ^th at Davidson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday morning November 25 ^th at the funeral home.   Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice.
