Donald Lee Hollister, 91, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026.

He was born March 2, 1934, in Hastings, Nebraska, the son of Millard Clair and Myrtle Zona (Markham) Hollister. He was a graduate of Hastings Nebraska High School.

Don was employed by Kriz-Davis Electrical for over 23 years until retiring.

He was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Topeka.

Don married Carol Enspah Rasumson in 1954. To this union were four children. They later divorced. He married Myrna Cook on August 12, 1976 in Topeka, KS. She survives in Topeka. Other survivors include four children; two step-children; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and four siblings.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Ken Hollister.

Don loved spending time with family. He enjoyed playing golf, antiquing, traveling and playing with his canine companions. He was also an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan.

Honoring his request cremation is planned. The family will receive friends beginning at Noon, Friday, January 23, 2026 at the Parker Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka where a celebration of life ceremony will begin at 1:00 p.m.
