Donald "Don" Blaker, 90, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025.
He was born August 5, 1934, in Oketo, Kansas, the son of Donald and Mildred (Seaton) Blaker. He graduated from Emmett High School in 1952.
He enlisted in the United States Army in 1956 and served during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in 1958.
Don worked for International Harvester Company for 18 years as Store Manager and KAR Products as an Area Manager for 30 years.
He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 400 and the Golden Rule Lodge #90.
Donald married Arlene Soelter on June 21, 1958 in Alma, Kansas. She preceded him in death on March 10, 2007. He is survived by his longtime companion, Linda Kimsey and daughter in law, Debbie Blaker. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Arlene; son, Bradley Blaker and his brother in law, Harold Soelter.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Parker-Price & Davidson Funeral Home, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, KS 66608. Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial with military honors will take place at Rochester Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas.
