Dawn A. Ramcharan

Dawn A. Ramcharan, 88, of Topeka, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022 in Topeka.  Dawn was born January 6, 1934 in Abilene, Texas the daughter of Dr. Thomas T.A.  and Roberta (Turner) Patterson.  Dawn graduated with degrees from Hardin Simmons University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  She served in the music departments of numerous churches and seminaries throughout her life.

She is survived by her husband, R.E. Ramcharan; two daughters, Renee (Jim) Flinchum of Virginia Beach, VA, and Amara (Ken) Latorre of Ocoee, FL; a stepson, Zebulon Ramcharan; a brother, Dr. Paige (Dorothy) Patterson of Parker, TX and a grandson, Kale Latorre.

Memorial services are pending.  Inurnment services are also pending and to be conducted in Dallas, TX at a later date.
