David Lee Haase II, 63, of Meriden passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026. He was born in Topeka on March 28, 1963 the son of David Haase and Jacqueline Diane (Reser) Kraak. David was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He graduated from Oak Creek Senior High School in 1981. He moved to California, living in the Los Angeles area for 20 years. David moved to the Topeka area in 2000. He graduated from technical school at Beloit, receiving a certificate in Heavy Equipment Operation. He worked for Shawnee County, mainly out of the shop on NW 46th Street. Medical issues required him to step down from his beloved position there.
He enjoyed model trains, motocross, going to the lake and NASCAR. He was a fan of both the Chiefs and Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his mother, Jacqueline Diane (Reser) Kraak of Topeka; sister, Sheri (Haase) Jene of Topeka; brother-in-law, Timothy Bork of Meriden; aunts, Sheryl Morris of Topeka and Carolyn Stull of Oswego, Kansas Richard and Patricia Haase of Hortonville, Wisconsin; numerous cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly Bork in 2021 and Aunt Wendy Parman in 2024.
Funeral services will be held at 5:30 pm on Monday, April 13, 2026 at Parker-Price Cremations and Funeral Services. Interment will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery on a later date.
