Darlene B. Ostrander

Darlene Belle Ostrander, age 91, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Lexington Park in Topeka. Darlene was born November 8, 1927 in Topeka the daughter of Maurice and Ida Pendergrass Lang. Darlene married Charles Ostrander September 16, 1948 in McLouth, KS. He preceded her in death after 64 years of marriage on June 8, 2013. She had previously worked at Morrell Egg Factory.

She is survived by two sons, Kirby Ostrander of Lawrence and Troy Ostrander of Topeka; one brother, Marlin Lang of Torrance, CA; four grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Graveside services will be Monday, January 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rochester Cemetery. She will lie in state Sunday from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. with visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Meals On Wheels and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
