Danny Worsley, passed away on September 17, 2025, in Carbondale, Kansas. He was born on August 19, 1948, in Topeka, Kansas.
Danny dedicated 32 years of his working life to KNI, showcasing his commitment and strong work ethic. He graduated from Carbondale High School. Danny also proudly served in the United States Army in the late 1960s, an experience that contributed to his character and resolve.
Known for his quiet demeanor, Danny kept to himself but had a compassionate heart. He took wonderful care of his two aunts, Fonda and Wilma, as well as his mother, Freda Worsley. Danny was very close to his parents and cherished the time spent with family. His involvement with the VFW in Carbondale was a testament to his dedication to his community, where he enjoyed helping with BINGO.
Danny is survived by his brother, Jim (Sally) Worsley, and cousins Patti Billbe, Ken (Kathy) Abrams, Richard (Donna) Abrams, Scott Abrams, and Kathy Abrams.
He joins his father, Percey Worsley, his mother, Freda (Peavler) Worsley, and his deceased aunts, Fonda Peavler, Violet Wallace, Wilma May, and Elvira Abrams. He is also predeceased by cousins Dolly Brown and Charles Abrams.
Danny will be remembered fondly for his caring nature and the quiet strength he displayed throughout his life. His legacy of love and dedication to family will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
