Daniel J. Goble, Sr.

Daniel J. Goble Sr., 92, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2026.

He was born March 28, 1934, in Cyril, Oklahoma, the son of George and Olive (Hollis) Goble.

He married Charlotte Cottle on July 21, 1954 in California. To their marriage, they welcomed four children. He was a loving father and that worked hard to support his family. Daniel was always willing to lend a hand to family or friends that needed help.

Daniel retired from Shell Oil Company as an Office Manager in 1996. He also worked for the State of California and the Ice House in San Bernardino, CA. Daniel enjoyed working at his church in Yucaipa, CA. He was known for his sense of humor and loved a good prank.

After retirement, he loved to travel in his motor home with his siblings around the country. He also enjoyed gardening.

He leaves behind his children, Jacqueline (Mickey) F. Gierch, Daniel (Lisa) J. Goble, Jr. and Elizabeth F. Stark; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and one brother, Thomas (Lucille) W. Goble. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Goble; son, Bradley A. Goble; his parents and six siblings.
