Cindy Kay "Ninny" Finan
Cindy Kay "Ninny" Finan, 50, Topeka, died Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at Stormont-Vail Hospital Emergency Room. She was born February 19, 1963, in Topeka, the daughter of Kenneth Lloyd and Carolyn Kay (Simons) Trimble.
Surviving are a daughter: Heather Holt (Derek) of Topeka; a son: Charles Kodie Trimble of Topeka; mother and step-father: Carolyn and William "Sonny" Verna of Topeka; step-mother: Carol Trimble of California; sisters: Kathy Bell (Robert) of Hoyt, Lori Miller of Topeka, Elizabeth "Liz" McMurray (Aundra) of Topeka, and Chris Kirtley of Virginia; brother: Kevin Trimble of Topeka; grandson: Devon Holt of Topeka; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, and sister: Terri Smith.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 7, 2013, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue. Cremation will follow.
Cindy will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Friday, at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cindy Finan Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 146, Hoyt, KS 66440.
