Cindy Lou Price “Honey” passed away on January 15, 2026, in her hometown of Topeka, Kansas, at the age of 63. Cindy dedicated her life to those she loved and her work, leaving a legacy that will be cherished by many.

She was born on September 17, 1962, in Topeka, KS, daughter of Zeke and Eleanor (Thompson) Price. She graduated from Royal Valley High School.

Cindy became a familiar face at Taco Al's, where she devoted more than 30 years of her life, contributing in all capacities within the restaurant. Her warmth and dedication made the establishment not just a place to eat but a community hub, where she welcomed everyone with a smile and a generous heart.

Honey’s essence was best reflected in her simple joys. She cherished her time spent with her grandchildren—Christopher "JR" Evans, Colton Baker, Aliya Longstaff, Cashton Brown, Ava Evans-Fitzgerald, Carter Allen, Asher Longstaff, Cooper Allen and Carson Baker. She found joy in being their grandmother, creating memories that will surely last a lifetime. Whether it was sitting on her porch, sharing her favorite Pepsi and Jalapeno chips, or reminiscing about her youthful days. She was known for her feisty spirit, but also was the type of person who would give someone the shirt off her back. Her loud and infectious laugh will always be remembered.

She held a lifelong friendship with the father of her children, Gary Baker. He survives.

Cindy is survived by her children, Amber Price (John Paxton) and Josh Baker (Caylee Longstaff); her beloved grandchildren and her siblings, JoRita Stang, Bonnie Price, Carla Price, and Jeffrey Price, and many nieces, nephews and cousins who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her grandchild, Caden Evans; her parents and siblings, Charles Price, Donna Eby, and Edna Robertson; her brother-in-law Joe Stang and nephew, Coleman Price.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Parker Price and Davidson Funeral Home,245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, KS. Her family will greet friends and relatives one hour prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at Meriden Cemetery.
