Charles Marvin Wynne

Charles M. Wynne, age 84, of Topeka passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. Charles was born March 3, 1933 in Gallatin, Missouri the son of J.O. Wynne and Lucille Boyd Wynne. Charles served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He married Mary Jo Naudet October 25, 1958 in St. John, Missouri. Charles worked as an over the road truck driver in the Kansas City area. Charles was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church while living in Topeka. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Wynne of over 58 years; three sons, Alan (Cindy) Wynne of Topeka, John (Jennifer) Wynne of Richmond, MO and Stephen Wynne of Detroit, MI; two sisters, Florence Wisner of Blue Springs, MO and Virginia Kidd of Lee’s Summitt, MO and 10 grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, October 9, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Christ The King Catholic Church in Topeka. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kansas City, MO at 2:00 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Mercy Hospital and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home. davidsonfuneral.com.
