Billie Edwards

Billie Edwards, 102, of Topeka, passed away September 19, 2017 at Lexington Park Nursing Home. Billie was born February 23, 1915 in Topeka to Joseph and Anna England, one of 6 children.

She married Jack D. Sutherin in 1932. They had one daughter, Sally A. Calamunce, of Topeka.

Jack died when Sally was young. She married J.E. Dale Edwards in 1945. He died in 1998. They had one daughter, Linda (Craig) R. Larsen of Topeka. Billie had 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Billie is a member of Topeka Bible Church, where she headed the Junior Church for many years. Members still remember her chocolate chip cookies faithfully baked for her students each week.
