Barbra Ann Shelton

Barbra “Bobbi” Ann Shelton, 84, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

She was born August 13, 1941, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Donald and Anne (Dister) Ostrander. She graduated from Topeka High School. After graduation, she attended Washburn University.

Bobbi dedicated 40 years of service to Stormont Vail Healthcare as a Radiology Technician until her retirement. She was a member of Mission Church in Topeka, KS.

She married Billy Jack Shelton on June 2, 1979 in Topeka, KS.

Family was Bobbi’s entire world. She loved spending time with her children as they grew up and never missed a sporting event. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life.

She also enjoyed spending time outdoors in her garden, as well as, camping and fishing at the lake. Bobbi and Bill also spent time together riding on their Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Bobbi leaves behind her husband, Bill Shelton; her children, Shane (Terri) Hillmer and Shawn (Kreig) Ashinhurst; beloved grandchildren, Zach (Kelly) Hillmer, Hunter Hillmer, Sydney Hillmer and Alan (Cory) Ashinhurst, three great grandchildren, Khloe, Ava and Hayes Hillmer, and a brother, Dan Ostrander (Belinda). She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Brian Ashinhurst.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am., Monday, July 20, 2026, at Parker-Price & Davidson Funeral Home, 245 N.W. Independence Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66604. Her family will greet friends and relatives one hour prior to the service. In her honor, Memorial contributions may be made to Mission Church, 4121 SW Huntoon St., Topeka, KS 66604.
