Andria N. Anderson

February 11, 1993 — May 30, 2025

Topeka, Kansas

Andria N. Anderson, a cherished daughter, beloved wife, and devoted teacher, passed away on May 30, 2025, in Topeka, Kansas, leaving a void that is felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Born on February 11, 1993, in Kansas City, Kansas, Andria's journey through life was marked by her exceptional warmth, compassion, and dedication to nurturing the hearts and minds of young children. Andria's passion for her work was evident to everyone around her as an early childhood special education teacher at Sheldon Head Start.

She possessed a bubbly personality, and those fortunate enough to be in her classroom felt her unwavering commitment to help anyone and everyone. Although she was quiet until you got to know her, her gentle spirit and kindness shone brightly, creating a safe and inviting environment for her students. Her love for teaching and her caring nature were her greatest gifts, and she transformed the lives of many children who crossed her path.

Andria's educational journey was a testament to her drive and determination. She graduated from Crest High School before earning a Bachelor's Degree from Pittsburgh State University. She went on to further her education by obtaining a Master's Degree from Grand Canyon University, always seeking to improve herself in order to provide the best for her students. She taught for three years in Gabbs, Nevada prior to returning to Topeka last year.

Life was filled with joyful memories for Andria, and she cherished the moments spent vacationing in beautiful destinations such as Colorado, Florida, and Nevada. Whether it was the thrill of catching three sailfish and a shark in Florida or going off-roading adventures in the desert of Nevada, and even enjoying a quiet moment with her husband, Nathan Anderson, they created a tapestry of cherished experiences that would last a lifetime.

Beyond her professional life, Andria was a lover of arts and nature; she painted with passion and relished the sound of rain during thunderous storms. She had a fondness for all pets, welcoming both cats and dogs into her home, creating a family that radiated love. Andria enjoyed spending time with her beloved brothers, and she had a special bond with her work family, always finding joy in shared laughter and camaraderie.

Her heart warmed at the thought of joyous family gatherings, and she found deep contentment in those quiet moments spent with Nathan, her husband, whom she married on December 19, 2023, in Fallon, Nevada. They would often relax together, wrapped in the peaceful silence that only true love can bestow. Andria’s favorite coffee spot in Fallon was a reflection of her simple pleasures in life; she found happiness in the small things, such as sharing a cup of coffee with someone she loved.

Andria leaves behind her loving husband, Nathan Anderson, as well as her devoted parents, Tim Starr and Kandice Starr, and stepmother, Stephanie Wight. She is also survived by her cherished brothers, Weston Starr and Max Starr, and her caring extended family, including her mother-in-law, Roxanna McCollom, father-in-law, Richard Anderson, and stepmother-in-law, Laura Anderson.

As her family and friends gather to remember her, they celebrate a life of kindness, laughter, and boundless love. A visitation will be held on June 6, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Parker-Price & Davidson in Topeka, Kansas. A graveside service will follow on June 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Walnut Hill Cemetery 8221 NW Hoch Road, Silver Lake, Kansas.

In the wake of her passing, Andria’s spirit will continue to inspire those she touched with her generous soul and loving heart.
