Alfred Gonzales

Alfred Gonzales, age 73, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the Healthcare Resort in Topeka.  Alfred was born August 31, 1947 in Artesia, California the son of Anthony and Consuelo (Guiterrez) Gonzales, Sr.  Alfred graduated from Artesia High School.   He married Lorraine Hernandez, they later divorced.  Alfred served in the U.S. Army for over 27 years and served in the Vietnam War and Desert Storm.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Anthony and Lawrence Gonzales.  He is survived by a son, Alfred (Jessica) Gonzales II of Abilene, KS; two daughters, Arlene Newton of Midway, Georgia, and Anissa Gonzales of Topeka; a brother, George Gonzales of Huntsville, Alabama; five sisters, Rosalie Gardea of Irvine, CA, Linda Potts of Iola, KS, Rebecca Gagnier of California, Georgiana Munoz of Whittier, CA and Mary Ann Gonzales of Wichita, KS; seven grandchildren, Jamelle, Gerald, Marcus, Malea, Jaron, Vanessa and Ariana and three great grandchildren, Aminah, Liliana and Alyza.
