Albert L. Pittman

Albert L. Pittman, age 87, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at his home in North Topeka. Albert was born March 23, 1931 in Bushong, Kansas the son of Claude and Valtie Johnston Pittman. Albert served in the U.S. Air Force. He married Lois Anderson in May of 1954. They would later divorce. He worked at Hills Packing Plant in Topeka and Allis Chalmers in Topeka. He was a member of the American Legion Post #400 in Topeka. He attended the North Topeka Baptist Church several years ago. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Idella Winn. He is survived by his son, Bill Pittman of Topeka; a daughter, Rdella Brosemer of Topeka; three half brothers, Ernie Stevens of Oklahoma City, OK, Dennis Stevens of Kansas City, MO and Johnny Stevens of Deleware; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. He will lie in state Friday from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka. davidsonfuneral.com.
