Leonard Mark Gurtler

Leonard M. Gurtler, age 91, of Topeka passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the Oak Creek Sr. Living where he resided. Leonard was born March 12, 1925 in Topeka the son of William and Matilda Murdie Gurtler. Leonard graduated from Maple Hill High School. He married Goldie Bisel in June of 1970.   She passed away in 2003. Leonard was a farmer in Wabaunsee County. He is survived by a sister, Maisie DeVore of Auburn, KS and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Seth, Marvin and Alvin. Leonard had been attending the CrossRoads Wesleyan Church in Topeka.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00-service time also at the Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Keene Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the CrossRoads Wesleyan Church and left in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
