David S. Brent

David S. Brent, 52, of Silver Lake, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016. David was born December 9, 1964 in Topeka. He attended Silver Lake schools after his family moved to Silver Lake in 1970. He graduated from Silver Lake High School in 1983. He attended Kansas College of Technology,Kansas State University at Salina. He worked for Ogden Publications since 2010. He had attended North Topeka Baptist Church and Northland Christian Church. He was amazing playing drums, and had a passion for computers and electronics.
He was married on October 10, 2010 to Anja. She survives at their home at Silver Lake.
Other survivors include his children, Chris Brent and his wife, Chelsea of Topeka, Jeremy Brent of Silver Lake, Kansas; mother, Merle E. Brent Keller and step-dad, Terry Keller of Silver Lake, Kansas; siblings, Don Brent and wife Joyce of Topeka, Dee Ann Hayes and husband Ted of Cleveland, Missouri, Darcia Brent of Topeka, Debbie Brent of Kansas City, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Philip D. Brent Jan 8, 2008.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 on Thursday, Dec 22, 2016 at Davidson Funeral Home.
He will always be remembered for his dedication to his family and friends, and his big heart.
