Francis Dean Kennedy

Francis Dean Kennedy, age 79, of Topeka passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015 at his home in Topeka. Dean was born October 21, 1935 in Topeka the son of Chester and Rose Mix Kennedy. Dean married Mary Kay Brooks, she preceded him in death. Dean owned and operated Topeka Carnival Supply for over 45 years. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Ginger Franklin and Penny Kennedy and two grandchildren. He is survived by two daughters, Candy Degand of Paxico and Crystal Beckwith of Topeka; a sister, Donna Kelly of Colorado Springs; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. He will lie in state Wednesday from noon – 8:00 p.m. with rosary to be recited at 5:30 p.m. and visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Penwell Gable Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Davidson Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
