Norman Lee Leinacker

Norman Lee Leinacker, 85, of Topeka, Kansas passed away on July 2, 2015.
He was born on September 24, 1929, in Topeka. Norman was a Topeka Fireman for 33 years before retiring in 1989. He also served his country in the United States Navy.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Joseph and Rose Leinacker; and a brother, Larry Leinacker.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Virginia Gale; daughters, Tamy (David) Simmons and Vicki Leinacker; three grandchildren, Piper (Aaron) Hower, Hunter Simmons and Cody Cowser; and seven great-grandchildren.
Norman was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Davidson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Firefighters Auxiliary in care of Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N. Kansas Ave., Topeka, Ks 66608.
