Beverly S. Shannon

Beverly S. Shannon, 53, of Topeka passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015. She was born August 10, 1961 at Pratt, Kansas the daughter of Lloyd and Virginia Lee (Zimmerman) Walker. Beverly is a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to many. She will be remembered for her sassy comments and wonderful smile.
She is survived by her husband Gaylon Shannon; children, Timothy Shannon (Mindy) of Carbondale, Tracey Hollaway (Jason) of Melvern, Teresa Carlson (William) of Topeka and Susy Wilson (Josh) of Topeka; her siblings, Linda, Mary, Gail, Jimmy, Leroy; twelve grandchildren; and her Yorkie, Leah.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Bobby.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, May 29th at Davidson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday, May 28th at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice in care of Davidson Funeral Home.
