Judith Kay Nottestad

Judith K. Nottestad, 75, of Topeka passed away on Monday at Midland Hospice in Topeka. Judy was raised in Topeka and lived here most of her life except for eight years when she lived in Wisconsin. She worked at the Menninger Foundation for 12 years and at Brewster Place over 10. She loved music, to dance, be with her family. Her life was her kids.
Judy is survived by her children, Eddie Vig of Topeka, Susan Hotchkiss and husband Steve of Olivet, Kansas, Twyla Elbe of Oshkosh, Wisconsin and Darla Schaal and husband Stewart of Lakewood, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Brandy, Natalie, J.R., Jared, Emily, Crystal, Mondo, Nika, Kory and Kaylee; and eight great-grandchildren.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents (her mom passed when she was just two months old); two sons, Aaron in 2008 and Mondo in 2011; and a granddaughter, Jessica Jo in 1978.
Judy was cremated. No services are planned at this time.
