Betty Chambers

Betty Chambers, 65, of Topeka passed away on January 26, 2015. She was born March 26, 1949 at Humbolt Kansas the daughter of Rev. Wardell and Hazel Ella Smith Chambers. Betty was raised and attended school at Emporia. She moved to Topeka about seven years ago. She worked in for home health care agencies in both Emporia and Topeka down through the years. She was a member of St. James Baptist Church in Emporia.
Betty is survived by her daughter Celeste Bowen of Topeka; two sisters, Kathy Hawkins of Emporia and Wanda Marshall of Lawrence; and three grandchildren which include Elizabeth and Samuel.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, Don, Bob, Anita and Ruth.
