Christina Louise Mullin, 54, of Topeka passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Providence Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas. She was born March 18, 1960 at El Dorado, Kansas the daughter of Fred and Betty Martin Huffman. She moved to Topeka with her family when she was five. She was raised here and graduated from Topeka High School in 1978. She later earned a degree from Friends University. Christina worked at Volume Shoe’s Corporate Office for over 20 years. She had worked as a claims examiner for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas since 2003. She was always very family oriented. Tina loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Tina was married to Bob Mullin on May 29, 2004 at Kansas Ave. United Methodist Church. Bob survives at their home in Topeka.
Other survivors include, her son, Ben Weiler and Kristin of Topeka; daughter, Nicole Thompson and Jeremy of Topeka; two step-children, Bobbie Caye Miller and Chris of Topeka and Robert J.L. Mullin and Anna Turner of Topeka; grandchildren, Aydin Weiler, Kaitlyn Thompson and Bradlee Thompson; step-grandchildren, Stevie and Ioa Turner, Raiden Mullin and AuraMae Ginger Miller; her siblings, Carolyn Busey of Topeka, Sharon Davis and Tommy of Tulsa, Fred Huffman, Jr. of Topeka and John Huffman of Topeka.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Linda Dickins.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 31st at Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rochester Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 pm Friday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in care of Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N Kansas Ave, Topeka, Kansas 66608.
