Linda I. Frederick

Linda I. Frederick, age 65 of Topeka passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Topeka. She was born March 17, 1949 in Topeka the daughter of Albert and Irene Milbradt Long. She worked for the State of Kansas for over 31 years, retiring from the Board of Regents in 2011. She married Kent L. Frederick September 6, 1980 in Topeka. She was a member of the Victory City Church. Her life was her family and her dogs, J.J. and Bromley.
She is survived by her husband Kent of over 34 years; three sons, Scott Coffman (Karen Reed–Coffman), Troy Ingram, Gary Ingram (Quincie) ; two daughters, Lisa Ingram (Jennifer Terry) and Sarah Miller (Robert); two brothers, Albert Long Jr. and Marvin Long (Connie); a sister Shaaron Knowlton (Richard) all of Topeka; nine grandchildren, Kaila, Kayla, Jason, Chelsea, Michael L., Raelexis, Samantha, Michael J. and Elijah and one great granddaughter Stephanie.
Graveside services will be Monday, January 26, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the Keene Cemetery. She will lie in state Sunday from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. with visitation from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. all at the Davidson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Rescue Mission or the Auburn No Kill Shelter (SCARS) and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
