Betty Rae Poff

Betty Rae Poff, age 71 of Council Grove passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 at Stormont Vail Hospital. Betty was born July 21, 1942 in Welda, Kansas the daughter of Harold Hartman and Vera Denman Hartman. She married and divorced Roger Sneed, Darryl Wood and Gayle Csitkovits. She is survived by her husband Robert Poff of Council Grove; a daughter, Angel Marvin of Topeka; 4 brothers, Lavern Hartman, Claron Hartman, Marvin Hartman and Gary Hartman; two sisters, Louise Jepeson and Linda Fredrickson; two grandchildren, Tiffany Marvin and Dustin Craige and two great grandchildren. Betty was a member of the Little Bethlehem Church in Council Grove. She enjoyed dancing, mowing, gardening and all types of yard work.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. She will lie in state Wednesday from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Rochester Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Little Bethlehem Church and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
