R. Darrick Karns

R. Darrick Karns, 41, of Meriden, died April 27, 2014. He was born January 3, 1973 at Stuttgart, Germany.   He was raised in Topeka and graduated from Topeka High School in 1992.   He later attended Kaw Valley Vo-Tech. He worked for Owens Bonding as an independent contractor. His dream was becoming a bail-bondsman.   He enjoyed shooting guns and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret M. Karns of Meriden; sons, Darrick Karns of Topeka and Samuel Karns of Meriden; uncles, Gerald Gray (Mary) of Lawrence and Geoff Gray (Barb) of Meriden and cousins, Sheila Henderson (Steven) of Topeka, Jennifer Gray of Topeka and Hannah Gray of Lawrence.

Mr. Karns was cremated.   A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 11 ^th at the Davidson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Karns Children Education Fund at the Educational Credit Union. To leave a message for the family please visit www.davidsonfuneral.com
