Geraldine "Jerry" E Dietrich

Geraldine “Jerry” E. Dietrich, age 97, of Topeka, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 in Topeka. She was born May 4, 1916 in Topeka the daughter of John Ready and Emma Althouser Ready. She married Herbert Dietrich December 12, 1942 in Topeka. He preceded her in death January 4, 1993. Prior to her marriage, Jerry worked for Crosby Brothers Department Store and the Santa Fe Railroad in Topeka. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ona May Mecord. She is survived by a son, Darrel (Janet) Dietrich of Topeka; a daughter, Darlene (Phil) Blakely of Las Vegas, NV; a sister, Eileen Bullington of Topeka and 2 grandchildren.
Private burial will be Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the Silver Lake Cemetery. The family requests no donations or flowers. Online condolences may be made at davidsonfuneral.com.
