Robert E. Jones, 84, of Lansing, KS passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Midland Hospice in Topeka. He was born Aug. 29, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of William and Edith (Black) Jones. He was raised in the Reading area and attended school at Reading, KS. He served in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Jones is survived by two sons, Mike Jones and wife Cheryl and Jeff Jones and wife Brenda all of Topeka; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Military honors and graveside services will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery at 11:00 am on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013. To leave a message for the family please visit www.davidsonfuneral.com
