Helen Marie Batemon

Helen Marie (Johnston) Mohler Batemon, age 82, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday June 5, 2013. She was born to Porter and Leine May (Whittenburg) Johnston, on October 22, 1930. She married Floyd Mohler in 1951, they later divorced. She then married Roy Batemon, he preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughters Dorothy Mohler, Linda Karydas, Jeanette Mohler, and Cheryl Ashton, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her longtime companion Leroy Jensen.
She loved working as a library paraprofessional at the Topeka schools, crossword puzzles, dancing, and gardening. She had a good friend Jake the squirrel which she fed every day.
Memorial services will be Friday, June 14 at 11:00 am at Davidson Funeral Home.
